Interesting article from GOOD Magazine about the ethical treatment of prison inmates. Mobius comments:

“The inmates were moved to another unit and the dogs lived with them 24/7. The inmates were responsible for their care and feeding and teaching them to be good dogs for prospective owners. The inmates were as hard as they come. The ones they focused on are murderers. To see how these men changed by spending 6 weeks with a dog was startling. They started having feelings again and one of them said that he hadn’t felt love or cared about anything before the dog came to live with him.”
